Latest Update:

October 4, 2022

Thank you to the many volunteers who have indicated their interest in serving on a Regional Advisory Committee! Wow! We have heard from a wide variety of individuals, including a great mix of backgrounds, industry roles and geographies. We’ve received interest sign up forms from producers, contractors, suppliers, architects, association execs and consultants. This response is exactly what the industry needs to develop the best possible programs that will be tailored to the unique local needs of each region.

While we’ve already seen such a tremendous response to the RACs, you haven’t missed your opportunity yet. The interest indicator form is still open and will be until November 4. I have no doubts there will be many opportunities over the next year for folks to get involved – the RACs are a great entry point for those who want to make an impact at the regional level. Please complete the form HERE before the deadline.

The first meeting of the Checkoff Board of Directors is set for November 16 and 17 in Chicago at the Hyatt Place Hotel near O’Hare. The meeting is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. Registration will be required for meeting attendees – look for a link in the very near future if you are interested in attending.

Thank you again for your willingness to be a part of this historic endeavor. I look forward to working with each and every one of you.

Best regards,

Ray McVeigh

Design Escapes
The CMU Checkoff Initiative was created by producers frustrated with continual loss of market share. That frustration was compounded when program ideas surfaced that could drive demand, but there was no way to fund multi-year, well-funded programs that would change outdated perceptions of CMU.
