Proposed Order Formally Submitted

Order Submission April 15, 2020---Leaders of the concrete masonry industry submitted a proposed Order to Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and Undersecretary Karen Dunn Kelley. The submission of the draft Order is the next step in the process to create a concrete masonry checkoff based upon the legislation passed in 2018 -- the Concrete Masonry Products Research, Education, and Promotion Act of 2018 (the “Act”).

This is a momentous time for the masonry industry and an important milestone in driving demand and preference for our products. An open comment period will be announced soon by the Department of Commerce along with additional information about anticipated timing for the vote.
